Bitvo does not place a hold on any form of deposit. Once received by Bitvo, you will be able to use your funds to trade without restriction.
*When depositing via e-Transfer, the funds will appear in your Bitvo account within 24 hours (typically it only takes an hour). If your e-Transfer does not appear in your account within an hour, it is possible that your financial institution has placed an outbound e-Transfer hold on your transaction, which often occurs when sending to a cryptocurrency trading platform. It is recommended that you contact your financial institution to validate the transaction and request the funds be released. PLEASE NOTE: Bitvo is not able to contact your financial institution on your behalf.
*When depositing via e-Transfer, your ability to withdraw fiat or cryptocurrencies will be delayed for 5 days. For your protection, e-Transfer transactions will only be accepted where the sender name matches the Bitvo account name.

*If you fund $25,000 to your Bitvo account within a 12 month period, the Bitvo Cash Card will be delivered to you for free. Otherwise, the Bitvo Cash Card will be delivered upon request at a cost of $10 plus applicable taxes.
The Bitvo Cash Card Cardholder Agreement outlines the fees, card functionality and terms and conditions of the Bitvo Cash Card. Cash Card fees are in addition to the standard 1% Bitvo withdrawal fee.
Withdrawing from Bitvo
There is a 1.00% fee for every withdrawal you make on Bitvo, with a minimum fee of $15.
